About LA School Trees
Project Overview
This interactive application provides access to the comprehensive tree inventory of the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). With over 82,000 trees across hundreds of school campuses, this represents one of the largest urban forest datasets in Southern California.
Data Source
The tree data was extracted and validated from LAUSD's official tree inventory reports, including detailed information about species, health conditions, sizes, and precise GPS coordinates.
